Best first date gift:

Apple iPod shuffle. (Sweet. Even beats dark chocolate.)


Best compliment:

"You are so ready to laugh." (Same guy.)


Best 5-year old son quote:

"Mommy, will you marry me?" (The guy has competition.)


Best 10-year old daughter quote:

"What?! It's gluteus? Are you serious? All this time I thought it was "bootius" maximus. I thought that's why they said "Shake your bootie!"


Best friend:

One who stays up with you for 24 hours, from emergency room to emergency room to ICU, and then visits you every day for a week.

Best thing about Florida:

Gator football. (Go Gators!)


Best thing about London:

Men will stop you on the street and tell you you’re beautiful.
(How cool is that? I hope it catches on in the States...)


Best British faux pas:

A British man replied to a question I posed with this classic response:
“Oh, well, as you Americans say -- that’s a no boner.”
(Um, I think you mean a no brainer.)


Best thing about Costa Rica:

Surviving the driving!

Having friends all over the world. :) Love you guys!
